Leader in Me

The Leader in Me Curriculum was created by Franklin Convey using the 7 Habits to teach leadership to educators, families, and learners worldwide. Founded on the belief that everyone has the potential to lead, Leader in Me is a comprehensive PK–12 framework that nurtures student leadership, fosters a culture of trust, and boosts academic success. This proven approach empowers students, educators, and families with essential leadership and life skills, preparing them to excel. The Tanganyika Schools adopted the curriculum in 2020 and has been working to achieve the status of a Lighthouse School.

Our educators, learners, and staff actively participate in the curriculum to facilitate learning for the entire Tanganyika community. Additionally, our staff members benefit from continuous workshops and coaching sessions as part of “The Leader in Me” program, ensuring they remain updated and equipped with the latest strategies and insights.
