The Perfect Place for Every Child

We are committed to providing a nurturing and safe learning environment for all children. We believe that every child is unique and has the potential to learn and grow in their own way.

Message from The Early Years Administrator

Thank you for your interest in the Early Years School! We are delighted that you are taking the time to get to know us. Our preschool stands out because our children start learning as soon as they step through our doors. They begin exploring from the moment they arrive. Our dedicated staff ensures that each child receives individual attention, thanks to our excellent staff-to-child ratio. This allows our staff to truly get to know each child as a unique individual.

We welcome children starting from the age of 2 years old. They can choose between our half-day or full-day program, offering flexibility to suit their needs. At our school, children engage in well-planned activities led by qualified teachers. They are encouraged to face challenges independently and also work collaboratively with their peers to solve problems.

Our environment fosters active and motivated learning, empowering children to become competent and capable young individuals. Child-led learning and play-based exploration are the foundation of our approach at the Early Years. Positive interactions with adults, who use thoughtful questioning, observation, and reflective practice, support and enhance children’s learning experiences every day.

We hope this gives you a strong understanding of how much importance we place on Early Years education here at The Tanganyika Schools. We are excited to welcome you on board!

Our Vision

Our Vision is to raise future leaders who are committed to serve and affect the world using unique gifts and individual abilities.

Warmth and Dedication, Love and Care, Personal Attention, Creative Learning, Fun.

Our Curriculum

At Tanganyika Early Years, our curriculum is designed to nurture and develop each child, fostering their security, confidence, imagination, and creativity. We recognize the uniqueness of every child, considering their abilities, interests, and special educational needs, and tailor our curriculum accordingly. Our approach combines elements from Montessori, Early Years Foundation Stage, and the Cambridge Curriculum.

We believe that children learn best through play, which is why we provide a wide range of engaging and challenging play activities both indoors and outdoors. These activities promote holistic development and support the overall growth of the children.

Regular observation of children’s progress is an integral part of our curriculum. We assess their development and share this information with parents, appreciating their valuable input. This assessment guides our planning for individual children as well as for the whole year group.
